The Hill, a leading US political newspaper and website, recently published an opinion piece by RightsDD CEO, Oliver Cushing. In the article, Oliver argues that Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and the US should use the model of the long running ‘Five Eyes’ security intelligence alliance to fight forced labour in supply chains.
Drawing on the experience of the US, which has rapidly increased the volume of suspect imports it interdicts on forced labour grounds, Oliver argues that international collaboration can help fight slavery in supply chains.
